Dacorum Primary Schools Cross Country Championship - 19 November 2009

The Primary Schools Cross Country Championship took place at Longdean School on a surprisingly dry but windy day in November. 20 schools took part with 25 teams in the girls’ race and 26 teams in the boys’ race. This meant that there were a massive 146 girls and 177 boys running. The event was marshalled by Longdean School Sports Leaders. All the competitors, schools and teachers should be congratulated for producing such a fantastic championship.

Bridgewater School gained a clean sweep of the trophies – very well done to them. The runners up were South Hill in the boys’ trophy, Holtsmere End in the girls’ trophy and St Cuthbert Mayne in the overall trophy
